What is OpenStark?
An open non-profit collective maintaining public-good infrastructure for Starknet and Ethereum: provers, sequencers, Cairo libraries, wallets and free education.
Is OpenStark the same as Starknet / StarkWare?
No. StarkWare created STARKs and Starknet. OpenStark is community-run and independent — we build open tooling on top, with no token or VC control.
How do STARKs differ from SNARKs?
STARKs need no trusted setup, are post-quantum secure and scale better for large computations. Perfect for L2s that must stay verifiable forever.
How can I start building in Cairo?

How is OpenStark funded?
